Day 1: Hoi An- Ho Chi Minh roads- A Luoi
Get out of lovely Hoi An, heading to Ho Chi Minh road, after a short ride, the Truong Son mountains ranges appear in front of your eyes.
Riding on the mountains roads to Thanh My junction, where was the main point to supply the oil and fuels to Ho Chi Minh trails in the war time.
After break, we will ride on Ho Chi Minh road, a stunning roads along the Vietnam and Laos border, the tropical rain forest scenery is gorgeous. We will stop over in some stunning high points for break and photos, ride up and down, stop in some untouched villages of Hill Tribe groups such as Ta oi, Pa Co, Brau Van Kieu… learn their culture. Still ride on the tropical rain forest roads to A Luoi town, a very well known town on Ho Chi Minh road
Check in and dining out.
Day 2: A Luoi - Khe Sanh - the hardest battle field in Vietnam War.
A short day ride with some highlights like:
Visit the Brau- Van Kieu Hill Tribe, play with children in the villages, enjoy the beautiful view along the way, talk about the DMZ line( Demilitarize Zone), the Hamburger Hills… visit the Khe Sanh historical monument to know more about the Vietnam War.
If we arrive Khe Sanh early, we can go to free duty market near Laos border.
Day 3: Khe Sanh- West Ho Chi Minh road- Phong Nha
After visit some highlights of Khe Sanh included Ta Con military airport, battle fields… we will ride on the gorgeous roads: “the west Ho Chi Minh road” to Phong Nha National Parks.
The gorgeous west Ho Chi Minh road along Laos border with stunning scenery of nature. I could not describe it with my limited English, but in the whole, you can see the magnificent, the gorgeous mountains and tropical rain forest and the zig zag roads.
Arrive to Phong Nha National Parks, check in and walk around, this lime stone mountains has been recognized as a UNESCO world natural heritage.
Day 4: Phong Nha Touring
Exploring the underground caves is the highlight today, we either explore the Phong Nha caves included sitting on rowing boat then go deep inside the caves and then visit the dry caves. Here, you can admire the stalagmite and stalactites which is formed from the limestones within million years,
Or, we will visit the Paradise caves, you also can admire the stalagmites and stalactites and you can swimming.
After visiting the caves, we come back to hotel for free leisure or walking around this areas.
Day 5: Phong Nha- Tan Ky Town.
Departing Phong Nha, the ride will be filled with twists and turns, as we navigate through the mountainous terrain, passing by quant villages and lust forests. Along the way, we may have opportunities to stop and explore some of the smaller, off the beaten path attractions, providing a more authentic and immersive experience.
Arriving Tan Ky town, check in after long riding day.
Day 6: Tan Ky - Mai Chau
We will continue our adventure by riding towards Mai Chau, along the way, we will encounter a diverse landscape, from the verdant mountains to the windy roads that offer break-taking vistas, as we make our way through the countryside , we will have a chance to interact with the friendly locals, learn about their custom, and gain a deeper understand of the region's rich heritage. The journey will be both physically and mentally rewarding, as we take in the stunning scenery and immerse ourselves in the unique culture of this part of Vietnam.
Day 7: Mai Chau trekking & relaxing
The roosters will awake you up in the early morning in Mai Chau valley, from your homestay, you will see the morning dew flowing to the valley from ahead mountains, the noise of women selling breakfast foods, washing clothes on the stream in the village, that is the daily activities of Mai Chau's village.
We will start the trekking after breakfast at the homestay, hiking through the valley then trekking up to mountains, admire the stunning view from the top, talk to the local who go to jungle to look for the herbal medicines, having a picnic lunch on the mountains, after that, we will hiking down to the rice paddy fields, find a cool stream for a swim before we go back to homestay.
in the evening, we can simply have a drink with local foods or you can join to a drum dance show in the village.
Day 8: Mai Chau- Ha Noi.
The 8 days Motorbike Trip going to be end, we will visit the Duong Lam ancient village on the way before we ride on the busy street of Ha Noi, check in and say goodbye. See you next trip.
