Option 1: Mekong Delta in 4 days
Mekong Delta is the largest Delta and the biggest rice basket of Vietnam. It was formed by the Mekong rivers and its branches when it come to Vietnam.
It plays the importance role in economy and it also holds the specific beauty of its own.
Day 1: Sai gon- My Tho- Ben Tre
The guide(s) will pick you up from your hotel, tie up your luggage on the back of the bikes, the first stop of the trip will be the independent palace or war remnant museum if you hadn’t visited it before, then heading out of busy street of Saigon
We will stop at My Tho to visit the 100 years old Pagoda - Vinh Trang Pagoda, listen to the stories and then we will visit the 4 islets by boat and rowing boat deep to villages to see the local life and their traditional job such as making coconut candies, fish farms, growing tropical fruits farm and bonsai farms, sit on horse coach to go around villages, try the local fruits of Mekong delta…
We will stay overnight in homestay in the village or back to My Tho for a hotel or guesthouse
Day 2: Ben Tre- Tra Vinh- Soc Trang
Keep going our trip after breakfast, we will visit the snake farm, stop over the family factory to see how they process the coconut, stop in Tra Vinh to visit the colorful pagoda, try the well-known food of Kh’Me people, hang around the everlasting rice paddy fields and coconut farms, visit many local careers such as rice paper making, incense making, palm sugar making and admire the sunset on the rice fields, stay in Soc Trang in second night.
Day 3: Soc Trang Day - Bac Lieu- Can Tho
Continuing roll on the rice fields roads, we will discover this areas by stop along the way to see the farmer growing the fruits and vegetables, breeding fish, frogs, snakes, eels…
Stop-over in Bac Lieu to visit the Bac Lieu Prince house, he was the richest man in Mekong delta under the French age, keep rolling on the beat of the beaten track roads to Can Tho
Stay overnight in the biggest City in Mekong Delta.
Day 4: Can Tho- Cao Lanh- Ho Chi Minh City.
In the early morning, we will visit the Cai Rang floating market.
You will see how the local people trading goods on the rivers, then we go back to hotel, having breakfast and go to Dong Thap province
Visiting the bird sanctuary will be another highlight of the 4th day, you will know more about birds, storks, fish and many other species.
Back on the land then roll back to Saigon
